Another wedding that reminded me just how lucky I am. Capturing a wedding day really is a privilege and this one was no different. It turned out to be an awesome day for Rebecca and Ross who held their wedding at a church ceremony in Monkton Combe, followed by the wedding reception at the grand Ston Easton Park, Bath. It began with me covering bridal prep at Rebecca's parent's house before heading to the church to see the ushers directing cars and guests to the ceremony with James Bond style headsets and sleeve microphones - so cool! The ceremony was a joyous affair and the elated newly-weds emerged to a shower of confetti before heading off to the reception.
The weather behaved itself, allowing for an outdoor drinks reception at the front of the Palladian house. I made the most of the extended gardens and took Rebecca and Ross for a walk where they could spend some time together. The celebrations then continued with a sumptuous wedding breakfast, well delivered speeches and on into the night with dancing and merriment.
Enjoy this selection from their day.

Pennard House Wedding Photography | Bibby and Dan
This was my first time photographing a wedding at the beautiful and charming Pennard House in Somerset, and it was so much fun. With wonderful weather and stunning gardens there are plenty of scope for photographs. The church is located just a few minutes walk away and made for a very pleasant and traditional ceremony.
Bibby and Dan are two of the loveliest people and they make a wonderful couple. Their influence on others' was clear to see and hear through the speeches, which had equal amount of laughter and tears. I may also have seen the greatest speech, from best man Martyn, which had the perfect dose of character assassination, cringe worthy anecdotes and finished with a heartfelt tribute to his best friend's enduring qualities and relationship with his new wife which raised a standing ovation and left not a dry eye in the room.
The awesome converted stables gave the guests the perfect setting for the reception and all they needed to celebrate in style. And celebrate they did... Sometimes I am requested to start and finish shooting later than the normal hours. This was the case here, and there I was beforehand thinking it would probably quieten down before midnight. Not so! These guys knew how to party and the dance floor was a bouncing, jiving, sea of happiness all night long!
I loved photographing this wedding at Pennard House and I hope to return soon. Please enjoy this selection from Bibby and Dan's day and share away if you like what you see.

Huntsham Court wedding photography | Clair and Andrew
Tucked away in the Devon countryside is the splendid house and grounds of Huntsham Court. A truly delightful setting for a wedding as Clair and Andrew discovered back in August. It was great to have all the morning preparations in one place and even the church is located just a stone's throw away from the main house which made logistics very easy! The weather behaved itself, with just a drizzle coming down for good luck pre-ceremony. A fabulous day of celebration followed that was a pleasure to photograph. Clair and Andrew were a delight to work for and I really enjoyed capturing the connection they have with each other and the happiness they bring to those around them.
I hope you enjoy this selection from their wedding day.
