Somerset Wedding Photography - Lucy and Nick

A man in uniform normally grabs all the attention. Not however, when they're up against a gorgeous, sports-loving, blond in her Enzoani wedding dress! Good effort though Nick ;)

Lucy and Nick's stylish Somerset wedding held in Stoke St Mary where the sun shone all day. The bridal prep was held at Lucy's parents gorgeous thatched home which was right next door to the quaint St Mary's church. The boys made good use of the Half Moon pub just a short stroll down the road Nick's army uniform looked very cool. The weather was just perfect and set the scene for a rustic country themed reception.

This wedding really celebrated the best of what a marriage is all about: love, family and friendship. I really enjoyed seeing the happiness and emotion pouring out of everyone. Lucy's Dad lent Nick the use of his classic MG which was very generous (and brave!) of him, Nick did a great job of driving down to the reception with everyone watching :) And to top it off? How about the bridal party taking to the cricket pitch next door to play a little game? Don't think I'll be seeing a bride bowl a yorker for a while! Great stuff indeed.

The party went long into the night and there were plenty of movers and groovers on the dancefloor which I love to see!

Congratulations Lucy and Nick, it was so much fun capturing your amazing day.

Enjoy this taster of their awesome day and keep a look out for the pet tortoise!
