Samantha and Ben celebrated their wedding at the charming Old Corn Barn in Devon back in August and I was delighted to be part of the day not least because Ben is also my cousin. Sometimes photographers shy away from friends or family weddings, I however love capturing the day as I have even more of a connection with those involved, helping them to feel even more relaxed.
With changeable weather looming it was touch and go at times as to whether we'd be forced inside for the day, fortunately it held off at the crucial moments and we were able to have everything outside that was intended, from confetti to the couple shoot. The speeches, celebration and crazy dancing were all a treat to capture and the night ended with the newlyweds being driven off into the night to much applause.
Now then, it's time for some photos, as I am a man of pictures, not of words, so feast your eyes on this selection from Sam and Ben's wonderful Devonshire wedding...
