Whenever I shoot a wedding at
St Audries Park, I'm always impressed with the courteous staff, the homely atmosphere and come rain or shine, the stunning backdrop that never fails to impress me. It was no different back in October last year for Carrina and Simon's wedding. With a large number of American guests it was rather typical that they should experience a typical English weather system in the form of grey skies and rain! But hey, that certainly didn't put a downer on celebrations, quite the opposite, with good pre-planning both Bride and Groom were more than happy to battle the elements with their wellies on and umbrellas at the ready for us to create some creative shots around the grounds.
Planning a wedding from overseas is never easy, yet Carrina and Simon pulled it off effortlessly and were super relaxed all day. It was a delight to capture them sharing their love with friends and family. I hope you enjoy this small selection from their day. Keep an eye out for Carrina taking a photo of her own during the ceremony, that was a first in my book!
