I had a blast shooting Sarah and Neil's vibrant wedding at The Watermill, Priston Mill in Somerset back in March. An awesome pairing, and no happier than when with each other, Sarah and Neil were lovely to work with and everyone made me feel very welcome. It turned out to be a glorious, bright and sunny day and Spring was definitely in the air. I captured the morning preparations at some nearby farm cottages where the couple were staying with friends. On to the Watermill at Priston Mill, which is a striking building, with three floors for guests to explore and an exceptional service from a very attentive staff. The ceremony was emotional and celebrated with hearty confetti throwing outside!
The grounds offer some great places for creative portraits, but more than location I look to capture the connection between the two people in my frame and Sarah and Neil found it really easy to just be themselves and enjoy this unique time with each other before heading back in to the fray! Heart-warming speeches followed the wedding breakfast (rather delicious I might add) and even the Bride herself said some words, always rather unique to see. Dusk approached and Sarah and Neil jumped at the chance to head out for a few more photos of the two of them. After spotting the children's play area, there was no stopping them getting on the zip line! After the first dance there was plenty of interesting moves from the exuberant crowd and after I'd got plenty of twirling, whirling and gyrating, I slipped off into the night. It was an awesome wedding at Priston Mill and I was privileged to see yet another happy couple celebrate their marriage. I wish Sarah and Neil all the best.
Based in Bath, Somerset I shoot weddings right across the UK and would love to hear from you if you are interested in my photography. Head to Somerset Wedding Photography to find out more.

Cripps Barn Wedding Photography | Roz and James
As a wedding photographer I work many weekends of the year and hence regularly miss numerous social occasions of my friends. Not so this time! Roz and James are old friends and it was quite the honour to be asked to shoot their day. They chose the wonderful Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds. The 18th century converted barns offer the most incredible atmosphere inside and with the expansive views outside, it really is quite the venue.
Every wedding I shoot follows a similar path, from preparation to the dancing. However, it is the people that make each wedding unique and these two people couldn't be more perfect for each other. I could go on, but I'm a photographer, not a poet and so I'd rather let the images tell the story of their wonderful wedding at Cripps Barn on a spectacularly sunny day back in March...
I shoot weddings all over the South West and plenty further afield. I would love to hear from you if you are getting married and want a relaxed, fun and creative photographer to document your day. Head over to my website Simon Biffen Photography to find out more.

Great Tythe Barn Tetbury Wedding Photography | Cara and David
The first wedding of 2014! Back in early March I had the pleasure of heading up to the Cotswolds to find a real gem of a wedding venue at The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury. With the beautifully converted barns offering great space over two floors, it was the perfect setting for a classic wedding celebration. Cara and David were also rather delighted with the unexpected heatwave that descended and made it feel more like mid-summer. With donkeys and pigs on site, the newlyweds made the most of making friends by feeding them their favourite treats! The day continued as all good weddings should with plenty of laughs, bubbles and outrageous moves on the dance floor.
Here is a selection from their day. Enjoy.
If you are getting married and are looking for a Great Tythe Barn wedding photographer, look no further! Do get in touch, I would love to hear from you :)
